We are seeking to appoint 2 Placement Officer - School Liaison to
work within the Opportunity Sheffield Team on the Skills Made Easy project.

The aim of the role will be to engage with schools to generate
interest in apprenticeships and work with those young people identified to put them in the best position to access the opportunities available. The role will involve working with school students in groups and on a one to one basis, presenting to groups of school teachers, parents and students and organising events.

The successful candidates will work with
colleagues to set up interviews and mentor candidates and their employers to ensure sustainable, worthwhile employment.. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of working with young people, preferably with experience of providing careers information advice and guidance; particularly in relation to apprenticeships .
